- Student Affiliate: Students at the undergraduate or graduate level with an interest in human factors. Student affiliates may vote and may serve on committees. If you wish to join the HFES South Jersey Chapter, please e-mail the chapter Membership Chair.
Dues & Renewals
Annual dues are $15.00. Dues cover all chapter expenses, including some of the refreshments at our meetings, sponsorship of prizes at the Jersey Shore Science Fair, and thank-you gifts for our speakers. Dues are waived for chapter members who give a talk to the chapter during the year. In addition, dues are normally waived for chapter members who have retired from a career in human factors but wish to stay connected with the field.
Dues can be paid by cash or check to the Membership Chair (make the checks payable to “Human Factors and Ergonomics Society South Jersey Chapter”).
By some definitions, “South Jersey” stretches from Cape May as far north as Tom’s River and Princeton, and as far west as the Delaware River. While this might be geographically correct, our chapter meetings and activities are mainly focused on the areas of South Jersey near Atlantic City. Members are welcome from anywhere, of course, but people living closer to Philadelphia or New Brunswick may find it more convenient to join the HFES Delaware Valley Chapter or the New Jersey Chapter of the UxPA.
